Football For Good cup set on Saturday

total of 16 teams will compete in “Football For Good: The MagnifiCup.”

The 16 teams are Lorenzo M. Tañada Foundation, Golden Aloha Boardsports, HEDCEN Redwoods, M.R. Mendiola, Sansur Nangka FC, FC ELRO Boys Town, QC Science High, Gawad Kalinga Futbol, Casa Belrina Corinthians, NK Trohamac, Nayon ng Kabataan, Futkal-Center For Possibilities, FC Real Manila, Leveriza Apache’s, Rayomar Outreach Football Club and Tuloy Amici.

The single-day event is for less fortunate male footballers aged 12 to 16.

The players will be bringing their parents and siblings to watch and cheer for them. They will all be treated for lunch and merienda for 500 persons courtesy of “Family Ninangs” (godmothers).

There will also be free Gatorade for all the players.

Rewards and awards donated by “Game Ninongs and Ninangs” (godfathers and godmothers) await the footballers.

“Football For Good” was initiated last May by The Henry V. Moran Foundation and the LSGH Football Program.

The “Football For Good: The MagnifiCup” is sponsored by Aloha Boardsports, Amici Pizza Pasta, Bridges PR, Gatorade, Kublai’s Rock, LSGH Football Program and 12 Team Ninongs/Ninangs, 24 Game Ninongs/Ninangs, 24 Family Ninangs and The Henry V. Moran Foundation.
