50 schools vie for 15th Unigames

MORE than 2000 college students from 50 colleges and universities all over the Philippines will converge in Dumaguete City for the 15th University Games on October 24 to 30.

The event, which is sanctioned by the Philippine Sports Commission, will witness a flurry of talents from different schools including Ateneo de Manila University.

The week-long event will be hosted by Silliman University and supported by Dumaguete City, Valencia, Zamboanguita, and the Negros Oriental local governments.

The students will compete in 13 sports disciplines, namely: basketball, volleyball, football, swimming, lawn tennis, badminton, chess, sepak takraw, softball, archery, beach volleyball, table tennis and athletics.

  1. Team to Watch! Central Philippine University sent an all-Korean soccer team to play in their behalf. These students are duly enrolled and studying at CPU. Let's see how this team would fare against the best of Unigames teams.
