THE DON BOSCO (DB) Boys Home finally posted its first victories in the Boys 12 and 14 divisions of the 13th Aboitiz Football Cup held yesterday at the Aboitiz Sportsfield at the North Reclamation Area in Mandaue City.
In the Boys 12, DB Boys Home notched its first win at the expense of the Subangdaku Football Club (SFC), 6-0. Its Boys 14 team also barged into the win column with a 3-1 victory over Blessed John.
In the Girls 14 division, the St. Theresa’s College (STC) barged into the win column with an awesome 9-0 blanking of the Giuseppe FC.
STC also waxed hot in the Girls 17 with a 10-0 blanking of FECINU.
But FECINU’s boys team lost in the Boys 17 after it bowed to Blessed John 1-15.
Games in the Men’s Cup continues today with USJR Alumni facing SRRU and USPF Alumni hoping to notch its second win when it faces DBUFC 2. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
