Air Force players, coaches given green light

AUCKLAND, New Zealand (UFNews) - Usapang Football have confirmed that the Air Force players, originally denied permission by the Department of National Defense (DND) to travel, are now in Taiwan.

The Air Force gave them permission to travel as well for the coaches. Their presence will be a massive boost in our bid for the Long Teng Cup.

Rob Gier arrived in Taiwan Wednesday as well and is now training with the group. However, Dutch-Filipino midfielder Jason de Jong is still in Manila experiencing passport problems.

  1. Jason de Jong's Dutch passport had four months left before expiring so he was denied.

He then flew to Manila to ask a Taiwan visa from the embassy there.
