David Basa

I think he still has playing years in him in the UAAP.. Still saw him train with our team during the start of this school year.. VERY SURPRISED AND PROUD to see him in our national team!
He has the most beautiful kick I have ever seen in local players.. Accuracy and power in one.. I think he can play all field positions though I think is still too slow for the forward spot.. (That's why you see him upfront or at the back here..).. I believe the perfect spot for him is on defense.. He has the bulk for it and the height (around 5'10 I think).. He's in the article Philippines - Hong Kong U23 - Pictures, top pic..
And I have also played with him.. He is damn good..
For those who don't know him..
Its good to have him on board.

David Basa won the best defender award in the UAAP last season. So ya, he's a defender. Although, like Eindhow said, he does have the bulk, he's 1.79m and a bit stocky, so I would've thought he'd be a CB rather than a RB which he's been playing for the national team so far. More so since there aren't any good young CB prospects for the national team.
