  2. we still need to win our next game to be assured of qualifying. if we lose the next two then it will be all for nothing.

    What favor?? We still have to play Laos AND Cambodia. Both tough teams especially Laos as the Philippines has never defeated Laos before and they're the home team.

    The Philippines also needs to tighten up defensively to have a better chance. Timor-Leste was able to slice the defense on a few occasions, it was their poor finishing and incisiveness that led to them not scoring.

  6. @HasThisBeenTaken you really have a negative world in you. You never see a glass half full. Im not sure how you do on your daily life.

    It is still a favor coz they both have 1 point each

    @bernard...
    How is asking what he meant by "favor" negative?? The hell is wrong with you!? This is not a situation where you can say that the "glass is half full" or the "glass is half empty". Too early!

    And this is the thing that I'm also trying to point out even other discussions on this blog but everybody can't seem to understand.

    People like you and the person who said that the draw was a "favor" are bigging up every little thing when in reality it's a nothing situation!

    By saying that it's a "favor", he's implying that if either team got a win, the Philippines would've been dumped out or the Philippines would have an easier or harder time qualifying when in fact no favors have been done yet! All teams are still in with a chance of qualifying.

    Do you even have any sort analytical sense?? So now I wonder how you do in your daily life if you don't which seems to be the case.

    @Booblehead
    All I'm asking for is a bit of reasoning behind the opinion! That's all. Is that so hard to understand???

    And yes, for arguments purposes only, what if the national team loses on Sunday evening? All the more it's not a "favor".

    Yan ang problema sa inyo eh! Oo lang kayo oo, cge lang kayo ng cge when you don't even analyze things properly!

    And once again, just to make myself clear, ALL I'M AKSING FOR WAS A BIT OF REASONING BEHIND THAT PERSON FOR SAYING THAT "IT WAS A FAVOR". NOTHING MORE. THAT IS NOT NEGATIVE OR HATING!!

    I don't care though. For the most part I expected that and still do because like I said, most people here doesn't have any analytical sense!

    All I've been doing is question people's opinion because for the most part there hasn't been much reasoning behind their opinion such as the person who said we've been given a "favor". But people perceive that as negative or as hating on someone when it's not!

    Once again, oo lang ng oo, at cge lang ng cge without actually analyzing what they've said or what others have said. That's the problem here and that's why people can't seem to understand where I'm coming from with regards to my opinions and/or questions.

    You see that's exactly my point. People like Jan M. can't seem to think on their own so they just jump on the band wagon instead.

    I also don't come on here to make friends you idiot!

    To add what I already said, instead of people making things much simpler and easier by just answering a simple question, they not only not answer the question because they can't for some reason but they also beat around the bush and they resort to stupid comments!

    Cge Jan M. payag ako per sabay tayo?!?!

  18. i understand what you mean its just that your posts have really been negative from the start. you dont want to accept the philippines jump in the world rankings table as good news, lagi ka naghahanap ng butas dude. hehehehe. you should see that despite not having a domestic league we still manage to look good rankings wise is awesome... awesome on the part of the national team who made that happen, and the sacrifices of the people who financed the team - dan palami. pero yes i know our domestic league needs to improve. and im hoping that the PFF addresses this issue and comes up with something....

  19. Whats all the hatred about? HasThisBeenTaken has his own personal views and opinions. We will never have the same views, none of us will. I can understand HasThisBeenTaken. You people take everything too seriously. You bash people for speaking english and all sorts of crap, but many of you also live abroad. How funny is that. Support the team instead. Be realistic rather than dreaming of the moon. Know your teams limits rather than thinking theyre the best team in the world, coz theyre not. Its also funny how some people criticize that Chad Gould isnt on the team, but the fact is that he aint any better than many of the local players. For instance, Ian Araneta, better than Chad Gould. But he hasnt been able to get out his potential when playing international games, and Chad has been luckier. Just coz he is abroad doesnt mean he is any better. Look at Gino Pavone, the poor guy probably thought he would make it, but coming from the US doesnt mean youre a shoe in when the coach picks out a squad. And it actually amused me.

    So people, relax. Cheer for the team in todays game, and ACCEPT that no one is alike when it comes to opinions.

    @Jan M.
    Ayaw mo pala eh. Then just shut up!!! SImple lang yun!!! Aangas angas kayo diyan, akala niyo kung sino kayo, trying tell me to kill myself and even bringing my family into this and when I tell you to do the same, ayaw mo! Again, just shut up !!! Especially if you're not being referred to!!

    @ClockWorks....
    Only sometimes it's been negative and you should be able to understand that because history its not on the Philippines' side. The Philippines has over 50 years of being an embarrassment in world football. I don't like it that its like that, none us do but until something significant happens to rectify that then there will be doubters and even pessimists out there, and yes including me! And with things like the ranking improvement, I never said that it wasn't good, all I've been trying to say all along was that you and everybody else shouldn't get carried away with it which seems to be happening. Yung mga maliliit na bagay, pinagmamalaki nyo na. Just like the guy who said that "Cambodia and Laos did us a favor". No favors have been done yet, totoo naman eh! Pero sumasakay naman kayo sa band wagon when in fact it's nothing situation where there's nothing to get excited about, not yet at least!

    @The anonymous poster above me....
    Well, finally!! At least someone around here has a brain, makes sense and is actually keeping their feet on the ground.
