Tri-Maxi Agro Team secured its third straight consecutive victory via a 3-1 taming of Las Buenas FC, while Real Negrense FC improved its record to 2-1 win-loss card by blanking Talisay FC, 5-0, in the 3rd Conference Ceres Transport 9-Aside Football Tournament at the Pana-ad Football Stadium in Bacolod City.
First conference champion Agro Team of Eric Gallaga stamped their class against winless Las Buenas FC of Pete Salido for their third win in three outings.
Roy Fegidero made two goals for Tri-Maxi, the icebreaker in the 2nd minute and another one in the 53rd minute, while C.J. Dekeiling made his move in the 40th minute.
Las Buenas’ Jason Lee made the lone goal for the losing team in the 18th minute.
In the game between Salvador Lacson’s Real Negrense and Ruben Clavecillas’ Talisay FC, the former notched its second win with a dominant performance over the Talisaynons.
William Flores lighted the fire for Real with the first marker in the 18th minute followed by Winston Valencia and William Claur’s with two goals each.
In the other game, Dynamic Builders of Ricky Yanson had 1-all draw against Ceres Transport in their own showdown.
Ali Rojas Go scored for the Dynamic in the 35th minute, while Eliseo Palomo booted in the goal for Leo Yanson’s Ceres in the 45th minute.
The Builders are now carrying a 1-1-1 win-draw-loss record, while Ceres has one victory against two draws.
Action resumes Sunday, with Tri-Maxi eyeing its fourth straight wins versus Ceres in the first game, while Las Buenas takes on Minuluan Talisay, and Real Negrense against Dynamic in the 4 p.m. encounter.*HLGarciniego
