The match Philippines - Hong Kong U23 has been postponed because of heavy rain. They tried to play the match but they had to stop early in first half.
Hong Kong FA inform that the match wil be played 17.00 tomorrow Saturday.
Taiwan - Macau has also been postponed to 19.30 Saturday .
LOL! And yet there are some people who think the defense is already fine.
ReplyDeletelive score corrected , no goal for Hong KOng..
ReplyDeleteAny line-ups available?
ReplyDeleteok when are they going to resume the match?
ReplyDeleteBooblehead
Not sure , maybe they will try tomorrow. Another match Taiwan - Macau start in one hour if not postponed
ReplyDeletehehehey! the photo made me laugh. where did you get it? that is some heavy rain... aint no conditions to play a proper match.
ReplyDeleteThanks , taken from Hong Kong FA website , www.hkfa.com
ReplyDeletegood work Jonny. Tried to visit the website but its in Chinese.
ReplyDeletewe should all get together in a forum somewhere when the match is on... that way we can get updates from you
Is the exact minute in the first half known when the match was stopped?
ReplyDeleteaccording to Usapang Football, the match was stopped 14minutes into the first half.
ReplyDeleteThanks for that.
ReplyDeleteUsapang football is also claiming that they played a 5-3-2 formation... I'm guessing usapang football mixed things up. It would probably depend on what position Jerry Barabaso plays. If he's a defender then he must be a LB and that would mean Aly played up front in a 4-4-2.
we have inFos dat Phils not played w/ 5-3-2
ReplyDeletePhils not played vs Netherlands ..
so it was 4-4-2
Phils must not be afraid to play vs Hong Kong,
even it´s not Philippines best squad.
wow inside info from the grandmaster fraud himself. wow! applaud peeps!
ReplyDeleteIan Araneta was also in the line, lets not forget. There were five defenders: Borromeo (CB), del Rosario (LB), Barbaso(RB), Basa(LB) and Atienza(CB). Given that del Rosario can play centre means Basa and Barbaso were most likely to be wingbacks.
ReplyDeleteWhich means the likely formation is a 5-3-2 with Ian and Chieffy up front.
So what if Araneta was in the line-up??
ReplyDeleteAnton is NOT a LB. He's a CB that can play RB or DM. It's 4-4-2. If McMenemy was going play negative tactics it would be 4-5-1, not 5-3-2. But he did put out a 4-4-2.

Dude, Anton can play anywhere at the back. He was listed as a left back even.
ReplyDeleteListed as a LB?? Where? Source? I'm sure he can though, but that doesn't mean he's gonna be effective there. He's also right footed.
