update on the U16 girls Phil-singapore 2-0
ReplyDeletetimor leste scores early hehehehe
ReplyDeleteIf Timor wins, that would be a massive boost for us.
ReplyDeletecambodia just equalize. hehehe
ReplyDeletewe should be able to beat cambodia if they play like this against us. theyre not the same team that played against laos
Cambodia - Timor Leste 3-1 HT
ReplyDeletecambodia is leading 3-1 at the half. timor play like a bunch of retards. kapal pa ng mukha ng coach nila na alipustahin ang pinas... not a very strong team daw tayo. heheheheheheheheheehehehe
ReplyDelete4-1 now , played 75 mins
ReplyDelete4-2 now
ReplyDeletehehe well taken free kick by timor leste
ReplyDeleteCambodia - Timor Leste 4-2 FT
ReplyDeleteLaos - Philippines 0-0 , played 10 mins
Ott is not doing a good job on the midfield. He need to step up his game and be tougher.
ReplyDelete15 mins , yellow card Borromeo
ReplyDelete20 mins great save by Etheridge.. 0-0
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky there! If the ball werent too far away, it would be 1-0 to Laos.
ReplyDeleteShouldve been yellow card to James after seeing the replay.
ReplyDeleteLaos score 1-0 !! was that goal ?
ReplyDeleteThat is some poor defending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo communication between the defenders at all. And where were the midfield? The midfield hasnt had a good game so far.
Replay shows that it was inside.
ReplyDeleteDavid Basa in
ReplyDeleteGoal Laos !!! 2-0
ReplyDeleteActually a nice goal.
ReplyDelete2-0 HT disappointing first half by Philippines
ReplyDeleteWe were caught on the counter-attack. the moves from both goals came from the right flank. Anton del Rosario was moving forward, leaving Gier and Borromeo exposed. Laos just too quick for us in the first half.
ReplyDeleteFirst goal on the 29th minute happened while Caligdong was getting treatment. twice Laos came close to doubling the lead until #10 struck that sweet volley. Really disappointing CEDELF
Whats your opinion on the midfield? It doesnt seems to cope with the rest of the team. To me, theyre struggling on the midfield.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cedelf , Im watching the match at bet365.com
ReplyDeleteWe suffered when were down to 10 men wihtout Chiefy due to injury. And then the second goal when David Basa were not able to clear the cross of Laotian winger. He was like he's not in his element. I don't know if he's nervous or what but he has to defend much better than that. I knew it from the first game that our local players are liability of this team except for Chiefy and Ian. Our bench needs depth. Anyways, better luck in the second half. A come from behind win is still possible.
ReplyDeleteI cant say that the foreign based players are doing such a better job than the locals. Central mid is struggling. James is whining. The left side has barely seen any play at all.
ReplyDeleteRight, Anton was moving forward too much that's why our right back is always caught off guard. It has been his habit ever since. Hay I hope coach Simon will bring that up to him in the dugout. As for the midfield, yes they're also struggling. I can't see the pace and ball control skills that Jason used to have two years ago. Manuel is not much being involved in the ball movement as well.
ReplyDeleteYes there was nothing much action on our left wing. Jonsson needs to show his stuff. James is doing a pretty good job and I like it when he's getting physical.
ReplyDeleteT~T
ReplyDeleteWhat's the final score?? Someone told me it was 10-1.. Is it true?? No update yet here..
Its 2-1. If football was fair Laos would have scored 3 more, at least. Still 15minutes left.
ReplyDeleteIt's 2-1
ReplyDeleteThe Philippinesa are very close to a 2-2.
Philippines plays very strong now.
The Philippines is within striking distance again. Let's go Philippines!
ReplyDeleteA couple of great chances by the Philippines cleared off the line!!
ReplyDelete2-1! penalty by Phil!
Damn off the crossbar by the Philippines!!! so close!
I THOUGHT IT WAS OVER!!>.< I'll watch na!^^
ReplyDelete2-2!!! LAST MINUTE!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLL!! 2-2
ReplyDeleteLucky draw.
ReplyDeleteJames Younghusband score 2-2 FT !!
ReplyDeleteA draw against Cambodia is enough to qualify for finals !
ill take that draw! wohooO!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! Nice late goal by James! Now should I call it a come from behind draw. LOL
ReplyDelete@jonny we're gonna win it against Cambodia!
ReplyDeleteWhat.
ReplyDeleteA.
Fight!
That was some match! Good to see them battling until the end...... which paid off big time! Good job to the team!
ReplyDeleteCrappy 1st half, good 2nd half. But we still gave Laos space and chances. We were lucky, but we got a draw. Good result.
ReplyDeleteJust witnessed a tremendous comeback by the Philippines. Almost lost my voice.
ReplyDeleteif cambodia and RP draw it means both would go in. unless Laos beats timor more than 5 goals.
ReplyDeletephil should have win this game vs Laos if not because of the Laos GK + crossbar. 1st half was laos but 2nd half was all about the philippines. Best regards from Indonesia.
ReplyDeletei really like neil etheridge as our keeper. he has a good eye! great stuff! i also like how james younghusband has improved. and to think he was rejected by our former coach.... look at him now!
ReplyDeletePutang ina mo HasThisBeenTaken!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, big chance that Laos will win big against Timor. They could easily scored 5 goals today if they had more luck.
ReplyDelete@clockwork,
ReplyDeleteWho said he was rejected? They rejected the team.
thanks david80! we are very thrilled about our teams perfomance. disappointing first half but was a different team in the second half.
ReplyDeletei agree.... our RB was weak. a lot of the attacks in the 2nd half came from there. needs to be addressed. what was Del Rosario thinking? hes pushing up cause he wants to score goals? the CB next to him should tell him to stay put when he thinks about floating off.
@ the anonymous person having a go at me...
ReplyDeleteThe hell is your problem?!?! Just shut the fuck up!
Absolutely! Good thing we finally have a very decent keeper in Neil. Hopefully we can also tap Roland Müller;s service in the near future so that when one is unavailable hopefully the other one is available. Meaning no shortage of keepers. Plus Jerry Lucena, Simone Rota, Stephan Schröck, Satoshi Otomo, Kai Kasiguran, Denis Wolf and Joshua Alcala. Solid Philippine NT!
ReplyDeletePutang ina mo HasThisBeenTaken! Walang maka3limot sa mga kademonyohan mo dito kaya putang ina mo! Mamatay ka na kasama na puke ng nanay mo!
ReplyDeleteSomeone is having problems. Time for a check up at the local witch doctor? LOL
ReplyDeleteHaha! Clearly sour grapes to that one anonymous person! You know that you're wrong and you have no proper come back that's why you're so sour! Hah!
ReplyDeleteYou seriously need to have a good look at yourself, because clearly you have issues!
@clockworks,
ReplyDeleteIts not about scoring goals, its about giving your teammates multiple options, going 2 against 1 and so on. But there are times he should just hold back instead of going off all the time. if you didnt know, thats his playing style. he always leaves room no matter who they play.
Tang ina mo HasThisBeenTaken! Kantutin mo na lang nanay mo! Malaki puke nun! Subukan mo, masasarapan ka!
ReplyDeleteJason de Jong got two yellow cards now, is he suspended against Cambodia ?
@Jan M.
ReplyDeleteThe hell have I done now?? All I did in this topic was say that it was some match and it was nice to see the team battle until the end!!
I also asked you to join me, but you didn't! So shut up already!
I think Laos were unlucky to not have come out of that battle with all 3 points, but I'm so proud to have witnessed a great comeback from our NT!
ReplyDeleteI must say, James Younghusband has improved a lot from his performance in 2007. He's really been creating a lot of attacking opportunities for the team. Just my opinion, he's one of the best if not the best player so far for the Philippines this tournament.
When was the last time we drew with Laos? I can't even remember. While this wasn't a massive result (still big for me), it's definitely a step in the right direction!
Neil Etheridge also made a lot of good decisions. Dare I say that the two goals scored against him (especially that wonderful volley by Laos) weren't exactly his fault. And he had a frickin' assist too!
I'm excited for this Tuesday's game! I hope they win and leave nothing to chance.
James Younghusband also got his second yellow?
ReplyDelete@HasThisBeenTaken Kantutin mo na lang nanay mo! Pag sumigaw sya ng fuck me saka mo sabihin yang shut the fuck up mo, black american wannabe!
ReplyDeleteGuys, lets not use this blog to vent personal issues against each other. Lets just talk about how good the team is doing. What a game!! One more draw and were through...
ReplyDelete@Jay kabayan madali akong kausap.
ReplyDeletesomeone here needs a straight jacket
ReplyDeleteUnggas ka pala eh!!
ReplyDeleteIf you're really this easy to talk to, understanding type of person then you would know that all I've done was question certain claims and even try to keep people grounded because at times most of you get carried away with even the smallest of things! That's also when too much hype is created when there shouldn't be!
And instead of answering the questions that I put forward or when I say that you're getting a bit carried away with things like the FIFA ranking increase, you take it as a negative gesture or you consider it as bashing! When in fact, its not!
Like I've said before, oo lang kayo ng oo, at cge lang kayo ng cge, without putting a bit of thought or even explanation to what you've said or to what others have said. You're not thinking if what has been said is really right or if it's applicable, and that's when I've come in and questioned things. And again, instead of you answering it to make things simple, you get pissed off and you consider it as negative and/or as bashing! That's also why I get pissed!!
what time is the phils vs cambodia game?
ReplyDeleteTang ina mo HasThisBeenTaken!
ReplyDeletesome of the discussions getting off hand.
ReplyDeleteGood job for the Phil. Team and Goodluck n ur nxt game in Vietnam!
