Stallion Sta. Lucia aims to reclaim the top spot in the standings as it faces Green Archers United Globe in United Football League action Thursday at the Emperador Stadium in Mckinley Hill in Taguig.
Stallion faces Green Archers at 7:30 p.m. after the match between Nomads FC and Philippine Air Force at 5:15 p.m.
After taking the lead in the League table after the first round of fixtures, Stallion temporarily settled for second place after the triumph of defending champion Global FC against Pasargad FC last Tuesday. A victory will help Stallion, which now has 24 points, clinch the solo top spot once again in the standings.
Green Archers, meanwhile, hopes to further improve its standing in the League table and avoid a possible relegation. Now sitting at the eighth spot, the squad currently has seven points and looks to duplicate its victory against Nomads last week.
In the first match, Air Force targets to finally end its nine-match losing skid when it battles Nomads FC.
With still no victory to show, Air Force is submerged at the bottom of the standings and is danger of relegation at the end of the season.
Nomads, meanwhile, aims to improve its place in the table which currently sits at seventh.
AKTV begins live coverage at 5 p.m.
