THE Columbia football club (FC) and Kilusang Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KMMPC) FC posted contrasting wins in the recent resumption of the Philippine Sports Commission-Davao Football Association (PSC-DFA) Premier League 2012 at Tionko football field.
Columbia FC shuthout Blue Knights FC, 6-0, behind the hat trick of Al Dinn Tiboron in the 24th, 33rd and 42nd minutes as Edwin Giganto added two goals and Imardino Polo chipped in one goal.
KMMPC FC, meanwhile, entered the winning column after beating Hooligans FC, 6-3, courtesy of Jerome Balaga and Warren Ravanes who netted two goals each. Teammates Danny Boy Fernandez and Gerald Saki hit one goal apiece.
Hooligans FC's scorers were Patrick Asoque, Ruelfred Napuran and Jason Mortillero.
Medvil FC and Philippine National Police (PNP) FC, for their part, force a 2-2 draw.
PNP striker Rene Valdesco started the ball rolling with a goal in the 63rd but Medvil countered with back-to-back goals from Mark Paul Dayanan (69th) and Francis Jay Abrasaldo (72nd), to take a 2-1 lead. Valdesco, however, sealed a goal in the 84th for the equalizer.
Games will resume Sunday pitting Medvil FC against KMMPC FC, Hooligans FC against Blue Knights FC and Columbia FC against PNP FC. (RPSA)
