THE Columbia FC and Hooligans FC posted contrasting wins in the resumption of the Philippine Sports Commission-Davao Football Association (PSC-DFA) Premier League 2012 Sunday at the Tionko Football Field.
Columbia FC turned back the Philippine National Police ( PNP) FC, 3-1, for their third straight win. Al Dinn Tiboron led Columbia FC with two goals including the winning goal in the 88th minute. Francisco Iligan scored Columbia's first goal. PNP's Rene Valdesco netted the team's only goal in the bootfest sanctioned by DFA.
Hooligans FC, meanwhile, routed Blue Knights FC, 14-2, to barge into the winning column after a debut loss.
Jayric Iligan sparked Hooligans FC with four goals while teammates Marlon Demapanag and Mark Bugay added two goals each. The rest of the scorers were Allan Rey Fernandez, Bal Angelo Morato, Patrick Asoque, Christian Hager, Rocky Custodio and Jacinth Ibanez.
Medvil FC also gained with a 1-0 victory over Kilusang Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative (KMMPC) FC to improve to a 2-1- win-draw-loss card. Vince Jan Olsar Zarta saved the day for Medvil by hitting a goal in the 87th. (RPSA)
