The Philippines has never defeated Laos before, yet here's Timor-Leste beating them 3-1 and are now in a strong position to qualify!! Quite impressive!
ReplyDeleteagree....Timor Leste has a good run and beat Laos and Cambodia clear....and we stumbled to a 0-0 only in Cambodia and a 2-1 defeat again vs. Laos (luckily this match doesn't count officially). And don't come again with that "bad pitch" stuff....both sides had to play on these potatoe fields, so..... Quite impressive what Timor Leste is doing....to bad they lost vs. Myanmar.....would be nice to see how we do vs. them.
DeleteI don't really want to bring up that debate again but like it or not, for that match in Cambodia, it's a legit claim! The pitch obviously doesn't have to be like a carpet but at least has to be decent, it wasn't anywhere near it. Trying to brush it off is like getting the teams to play on the beach or a construction site or somewhere like that and then saying both teams had to play on it. Does it make it acceptable? Definitely not!!
Deleteyeh "bad pitch" which is why it was 0-0!
DeleteKarma for Laos. Hahaha. Thats karma for cheating!
ReplyDeleteCheating? How? The referee they used? That's not exactly cheating! It wasn't right but it's not really cheating per se!
Deleteshut the fuck up! the refs they used were obviously there to give laos an advantage. thats cheating! even mulders remarked when he was interviwed back in the netherlands that they nearly chopped their legs off and not one of them was carded! now shut the fuck up! fuck off!
Deleteright! the Laos team should compete at lumberjack instead of a football tournament.....that's why i am really happy that Timor Leste thrashed them from the field.....hope Myanmar wins vs. Laos as well and Timor Leste get the neccessary point then vs. Brunei...so Laos stays at home :-)
