The University of St. La Salle college football team blanked defending champion University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, 3-0, to sweep all its assignments and capture the crown in NOPSSCEA 2011.
Joshua Beloya broke the ice for the La Salle team in the 28th minute while Ralph Layumas made it 2-nil with another goal in the 30th minute.
Mang Yao sealed the victory in the 71st minute as the Unorians relinquished their title to the formidable USLS team.
