Dynamic, Ceres keep winning streak in 2011 YGBC 9-A-side bootfest

BACOLOD CITY - Dynamic Builders Football Club and the Ceres Transport FC remain unbeaten in the conference after routing their respective rivals last Sunday in the ongoing Yanson Group of Bus Companies (YGBC) 9-A-Side Football Tournament played at the Ayala North Point pitch in Talisay City.


Dynamic blasted an 8-2 win over Las Buenas FC (LBFC) behind Ali Go’s 3 goals.


Go led Dynamic’s scoring with an opening goal at close range in the 3rd minute and nailed his second in the 19th minute for a 2-nil advantage in the early minutes of the match.


Ian Treyes scored Dynamic’s third goal in the 20th minute as Jeb Alvarez hit another in the 29th minute to post a 4-nil lead.


But before the whistle blows to end the first half, LBFC made a goal on a Marson dela Torre score at close range in the 34th minute to cut the lead, 4-1 at the break.

In the resumption of the match, LBFC opened strong with a goal from Elfred Deraja in the 42nd minute to further slash the lead at 4-2.


However, Go scored a quick 45th minute goal to extend the lead to 5-2 as teammate Archie Familiar converted Dynamic’s sixth goal in the game at 51st minute.


With Dynamic’s lead already impossible to break, Go remained offensively focused as he scored his last two goals in the 57th and 65th minute and sealed Builders’ third straight wins.


In the second game, Ceres Transport FC spoiled Talisay Minuluan booters, 2-1 despite having Homeless World Cup campaigners Michel Rojo and Leopoldo Aragon on the lineup.


Aragon gave Talisay the lead in the match with a goal in the 12th minute for a 1-nil advantage.


But Ceres’ Troy Fegidero scored a 21st minute goal to equalize the match at 1-all at the half.


In the resumption of the game, Dave Javellana nailed Ceres’ second goal in the 47th minute to finally book Transport third victory.


In the main game, Trimaxi FC defeated Real Negrense FC, 5-3.


Bes Dela Noche of Trimaxi scored a goal at close range in the 8th minute to give Trimaxi a 1-nil lead at the half.


But in the second half, Aaron Amantillo scored another in the 42nd minute to post a 2-il lead in the game as Dela Noche nailed another in the 58th minute.


However, as the time winding down, Real FC scored back-to-back goals from Samson Sare in the 61st minute and Mark Uberas in the 63rd minute to cut the lead to 3-2.


But Dela Noche nailed his third in the 65th minute to give Trimaxi a 4-2 advantage as Real FC Paul Espinosa scored a threatening 66th minute goal to keep the game close at 4-3.


With the time on Trimaxi’s side, Theo Limas nailed an insurance goal in the 69th minute and register their first win the conference.


Games resume Sunday.
