an Carlos City and Real Negrense defeated their respective opponents for the second straight win to gain a solo lead in their respective groups in the 1st Negros First Football Open Championship at Panaad Park and Sports Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod City held during the weekends.
San Carlos followed their first win against Bago City Football Club, 3-1,to beat Kabankalan City, 6-1, in Group A while Real Negrense made it two in a row after a come from behind win over Don Bosco Alumni, 4-2. Their initial win was against Cadiz FC, 7-3, last September 17.
San Carlos Nenito Alcano scored three goals in 14th, 23rd and 50th, with Neil Ryan Lirio in the 24th, while Heinji Ruiz and Ramon Gonzales added in 56th and 77th minute.
Jether Emar was the only goal scorer for Kabankalan City FC. Kabankalan absorbed its second straight loses with Magallon United FC in Group A who lose to Bago City, 4-2. Bago FC scorers were Renz Guevarra in 43rd and 45th; Bon and Rexie Amanguiton did it in the 52nd and 73rd respectively for a 1-1 win –loss card.
Don Bosco’s John Dominic Segaya scored first in the 41st and headed for a turn out I Group B but Real Negrense retaliated with Winston Valencia marker in the 45th, followed by Carlo Torbela in 52nd and Michael Pacete and William Flores ignited in the 75th and 88th to sandwiched Don Bosco’s John Eric Acevedo goal in the 73th minute.
It was Don Bosco second straight defeat along with Cadiz FC in Group B who lose to Minuluan-Talisay FC, 3-1 with Nihan Brein Jardio scoring in the opening 7th minute and Bes de la Noche in the 17th, 22nd and 52nd. Cadiz Keith Torculas had scored in the 43rd minute.
n Saturday, October 8, Ceres and La Carlota with both 1 win each, will slugged it out starting at 8:30am in Group B; Bacolod United FC (1-0) will face winless La Buenas FC at 1pm in Group A; Himamaylan FC that draw with Minuluan-Talisay on opening day will face winless La Castellana FC at 3pm in Group B; and Pontevedra and Sagay with 1-0 cards will separate ways at 5pm in Group A.
The matches are played every Saturday until January 21 and 22, 2012 for the semifinals and championship.* (CMGarde)

Nice. Most of the football clubs are actually city based. They should just make this into an actually league and count it as the Neg. Occ. premier league or something like that.
