3-0 HT Philippines
quite disappointing what the team plays in the 2nd half....they even got sometimes problems in the defense from Guam....a better side had knocked them out again....
ReplyDeleteWhat shit this game was. Absolute borefest from start to finish!! Everyone was so casual and kept hoofing it up front aimlessly! The pitch didn't help either.
ReplyDeleteSobrang gigil maka score. We should have used this game to practice more on building up plays, build better cohesion amongst players, better judgement and not to rush things. Some players are so eager to score, force their shot even its a very acute angle and they forgot to pass to better positioned players(ex Misagh). Phil was not usual self, he was overly relaxed. I was waiting for Weiss to test Rechielt, Moy, Sacapaño and Clarino in the second half.

So anu ibig mung sabihin regarding the pitch complete your thoughts...????
Shouldn't that be obvious? It was stated that the pitch was hard and even Rudy del Rosario said he had a look at the pitch himself and confirmed it was hard! You can even tell it was the case as the ball kept bouncing everywhere.
DeleteTo add, the pitch was also slow. Meaning it wasn't slick enough and didn't allow for a more fluid style of game. Also based on some photos, the grass looked tall and thick.
Panaad pitch was lousy. The ball was bouncing though it was a level pass from one player to another.
ReplyDeleteIt was lousy. It's always been that way. I mean, the national team has never had a performance where they had any sort of pace and fluidity at that stadium. Be it the AFF C'ship qualifiers in '06, against Mongolia last year, now against Guam or even with the U23's back in the '05 SEA Games. It's not because they can't it's because the pitch doesn't allow it! Although to be fair, the players are also to blame for not showing up!
DeleteBe patient gentlemen.
ReplyDeleteWe know that our NT is composed of players who can play international ball. But again everyone must think that they are adjusting to the opponent, to themselves and to the pitch.
You think when they practice it would be like the actual game.
Every game is different and every opponent is different. I totally agree that there were miscues but hey, were just spectators. Kung nasa actual game siguro tayo baka ang movement natin ay iba din.
Just think of the win and the experience. We are like the Guam team before the 2010 Suzuki Cup, but we are improving as our Coach said.
Let's enjoy the win, kesa naman sa nangyari ke Pacquiao na ninakawan nang panalo in short talo.
Hopefully the people concerned can do something about our football fields being used for international competition. Our NT is improving but our playing ground is not.
Good day.
but i think the pana-ad pitch is way better than any other pitch here in the Philippines, that is why most foreign players love to play football at the pana-ad stadium...better pitch, best lights, and the biggest stadium in the Philippines!
ReplyDeleteBiased much?!? lol! You're entitled to your opinions but that's just taking the piss!
DeleteThese supposed foreigners may like it better because the surrounding area is a park! Better pitch and bigger stadium?! Laughable to say the least! Best lights? Arguable.
RMS is still the best football venue. Bacolod will need to fix Panaad. And they embarrass themselves by telling everyone they have the best pitch around.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous13 June 2012 16:22

Where in that post was the RMS mentioned!?!?! That's the problem with you dumb asses such as yourself. Too fucking proud... too much pride!! And then when someone comes along and doesn't go along with what you say, you make it into a this vs that argument and you also make it seem like you're being belittled even though that's not the case!! A bunch of fucking morons really!!! You and other people such as yourself seriously need to sort yourselves out big time!!

so anu dapat sa manila na sana nag held ng laro???o dapat tulungan ng national, local o PFF na palaguin???bakit napansin nyo ba yan 2004 up to 2010 noong indi pa sila sikat at doon ang bahay nila???
fine the pitch is bouncing at panget.....bakit saan pa ba maganda???kung RMS nasa isip mo then d sa manila na ibuhos nyo ang funding???masyado nyong pipuna ang maliit na bagay....ika nga ang gagaling nyo....
See response above @ 14 June 2012 14:04... applies to you too!!!!
Deletemaybe this guys haven't seen and played at the pana-ad. well, if mr. del rosario said the pitch was hard, it doesn't mean that it was harder than than that of rms. because some azkal players themselves have said during a visit in our place that pana-ad is still much much better than rms.
