They are expected to play two friendlies , maybe in a mini tournament in Bacolod on Friday and Saturday.
Not decided yet what teams they will play , it could be against Global Fc or Ceres Fc of Bacolod.
Latest addition to the training camp is Andres Gonzales, Loyola FC.
Alfred "Freddie" Gonzales is not in the training camp now, Kaya FC players are arriving later this week.
Some foreign based fil-foreigners are expected joining the training camp this week. Ray Jonsson , Jason de Jong , Roland Müller , Rob Gier and Denis Wolf.

I'm just wandering if Andres Gonzales will still be playing even if he's the new coach of U16 National Team or 'Teen Azkals?'
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot of coaches appointed by PFF for the National team who are still plating in the UFL. I wonder why is this so , as a coach of the national team they should focus their attention to the team and not on playing anymore. Can they serve two masters and satisfy them all the time? I don't think so..
Most of the Loyola Meralco players are coaching grassroots level and National Teams. Most of these players are B license and A license holders in AFC Coaching Course but their main priority are there playing career undermining the gift they had received from PFF from studying abroad for free.
ReplyDeleteI think it's possible to handle two "masters" as long as Anto can manage his time properly and effectively. Andres Gonzales is a former National Team under by Coach Aris Caslib and he graduated as a student-athlete in University of The Philippines-Diliman, he is now the Head Coach of undefeated UAAP back to back champions UP-Diliman and currently playing in Meralco Sparks. I will not just expose my name, i was being with a team of Anto Gonzales under Coach Aris Caslib. And i could say that Coach Andres Gonsales is professional enough to handle his job effectively. It's all about passion guys :)
