RONNIE Aguisanda scored his first goal of
the season as Green Archers United Globe hacked out a 1-1 draw against Nomads
Auction Manila last night in the United Football League at the University of
Makati.
The Far Eastern U defender struck a rocket
of a volley that ricocheted off both posts before finding the back of the net in
the 69th minute as Archers moved six points clear of last-place team Navy Red
Juice.
Using crisp passing and smart movement
without the ball, Nomads went ahead in the 63rd minute through Nnuibife
Fidelis, who got on the end of a Bahaeldin El-Habbib past to slot home from
point-blank range.
The goal woke up Archers, who responded
with skipper Tating Pasilan and Jess Melliza crafting a string of chances before
Aguisanda found the equalizer
Nomads, last year’s second division
champions, stayed in sixth spot with 17 points with three matches remaining in
their schedule.
In second division action, Diliman Victory
Liner rallied from two goals down in the second half to come away with a 3-2
victory over Socceroo.
