THE Medvil Football Club of Davao City will scout new players for the next Suzuki Cup U-23 having finished second in the recent edition held in Dumaguete City.
Head coach Ramonito "Lalas" Carreon, during the Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn held Thursday at Dexter's Pizza Stadium in Matina said that their biggest asset was their goalkeeper Dominador Tato IV who was then named Best Goalkeeper of the tournament.
Carreon also said there is a need to scout and recruit taller players.
The team was short of these when they played defending champion Ceres-Negros Occidental Football Association (Nofa) in the championship match.
He, however, praised his players for giving their best in the event.
The team was also composed of Jomar Acedo, Ed Merill Walohan, Fracis Jay Abalunan, Frances Jay Abrasaldo, Amani Manuel Aguinaldo, Jerard Bierneza, Khadaffy Biruar, David Angelo Diamante, Derrico Gabriel Diamante, Jestoni Felipe, Yoshiharu Koizumi, Danilo Lascuña Jr., Renz Rhey Napuran, Michael Pantojan, Imardino Polo, and Michael Nehemiah Simms.
