The group of companies chaired by businessman and sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP), led by wireless provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has pledged up to P3 million worth of performance incentive to the Philippine Azkals
Smart chief wireless advisor Orlando B. Vea announced today that the team is guaranteed the P1M if it wins its game against Singapore in their semifinals face-off in the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup.
The Azkals are set to face Singapore again tomorrow after their game at the Rizal Memorial Stadium last Saturday led to a 0-0 draw.
Should the Azkals win against Malaysia or Thailand in the finals, Vea said they will earn an additional P2 million.
Other MVP companies backing the Azkals in its 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup bid are PLDT, Maynilad, NLEx, Meralco and Sun Cellular.

Same old news. Smart pledging but they never follow through for Football. I heard that they haven't given the prize money from last year's Smart Club Championship.
ReplyDeleteHopefully, this time around is different
They lose , what now?
