Iran's Daei refuses coaching Philippine football team

TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iranian former national football team Boss Ali Daei rejected Philippine offer for coaching the national football team of the Southeast Asian country.

The offer came after Ali Daei refused to continue coaching Iran's Persepolis club after Iran Cup.

Persepolis' technical committee had offered the position to Daei earlier after he walked away from the post following the club's play-off Cup triumph.

Daei made 149 appearances for the Iran national team scoring over 100 goals.
