  12. last minute urgency (finally) from the RP side. 1-1 to the Philippines! If only they pushed more. but great result indeed!

  13. This is a great result! Holding the former champions to a 1-1 draw is definitely something to be proud of! Go Azkals! I was shouting with the goal, not afraid my neighbors might think a lunatic lived next door hahaha!

  16. could have gone better.. many mistakes in the defense.. every time Singapore attacked the Philippine defense became stressed out.. allowing Singapore to pass the defense.. good midfield players.. could have done better by the forward players.. they should have scored more!.. And good that Philippines was lucky with the last min goal by Greatwich.. nice and secure goal through the Singaporean defense!

hope next game will be better, it is time to show what the Philippines is made of.. finally qualifying and hopefully staying!

  18. CONGRATS AZKALS!!!!

  19. our defense had some okay moments but looked shaky whenever Singapore makes a good delivery pass the back four. we need to have more composure especially in our midfield and make better decisions and not waste it and push forward with conviction on the counter.

we were lucky. but this would definitely make us grow with confidence this campaign.

    Come on you Azkalz!

  21. it could have been a win for the philippines. the goal of aleksandr duric could have easily been avoided if we cleared the ball from the box, noah would not have been able to cross it to duric. then in the last second of injury time we get the first goal. tsk tsk tsk. hehehe
    happy for the draw!

  22. OMG! Great sense of urgency by the Philippines especially on the part of Neil Etheridge for pushing the ball. And thank God, Phil found his brother cutting on the left flank to provide an accurate cross to Chris. Actually, Ali also attempted but the ball went off to the feet of Chris. Another comeback draw by the team. This is very good character buildup for the team in Suzuki Cup.

  23. My goodness! Im so proud of team pilipinas! Kaso wla sa news! Big deal ito dapat! we defeated one of the powerhouse of south east asia! tsk tsk ....kahit konting media mileage man lng sana sa azkals pero wala talaga sa news! Mas newsworthy pa yung injury ng isang basketball player kesa sa draw natin sa singapore...how sad...... :-(
