MEMBERS of the Cebu Football Association board will try to have their long overdue general assembly this March.
They will have an assessment of last year’s performance, which is recorded as the board’s start of its first year of term.
“It’s more of a reporting on the direction of the board this year, including its mission and vision,” said Referee Committee Head Rodney Orale.
The original date of the assembly was last December but because of the holidays, that never pushed through.
CFA general-secretary Joey Herrera said that they have to set the assembly by first quarter this year.
During the assembly, the board will update the registration of members clubs so that they can determine who among the list are regular members or those who are on probationary status.
The classification matters to determine the voting rights of the clubs come election this 2014.
Herrera said that as of now, they are already accepting new clubs in their list and they are also updating the referees and coaches list.
The group will also present the financial status of last year and also the programs for the whole year round.
Aside from the members of the board, the assembly will be attended by coaches, team managers and the players.
The group will also invite Philippine Football Federation Nonong Araneta and Azkals team manager Dan Palami on the event that will also coincide with the formal oathtaking of the board members and the blessing of the new CFA office.
