Global strengthens roster with Rufo, Angel signing

Global has bolstered its side ahead of the coming season with the acquisition of Rufo Sanchez and the return of Angel Guirado to the squad.
Sanchez, a free agent after his deal with Stallion expired last month, played for Global in the Singapore Cup quarterfinals last July.
The Spanish striker joins Global on the back of a successful stint at Stallion which he led to a Cup and League double. Sanchez also emerged top scorer of the league and was also adjudged Golden Ball winner as the UFL's most outstanding player.
Guirado, who can play striker or on the flanks, returns to Global after playing overseas last season. The Filipino international saw action for Global in the 2012 season and was part of the side that won the league crown.
"We are happy to have secured their (Sanchez and Guirado) services as Global prepares for tough tournaments here and overseas," said Global owner Dan Palami.
Paul Mulders, who was part of the Singapore Cup squad, is also finalizing his deal with the club.

    1. Im sure he will send some of the Global players to Laos. As soon as they recruited better players, the other are sent away or to Laos. Happened before, and sure it will happen again.
