Philippine Olympic Committee chairman Monico Puentevella was inducted director of the FIFA Marketing and Television committee, a press release from his office said.
Puentevella officially joined the FIFA committee during the pin handover ceremony led by FIFA president Joseph Blatter and committee chairman Marios Lefkaritis in Zurich, Switzerland.
The ceremony was one of the highlights of the first meeting of the Marketing and Television committee under its new set of executive members, the press release said.
The Marketing and Television Committee is headed by Marios Lefkaritis of Cyprus as chair and Ricardo Terra Teixeira of Brazil as vice chair with 13 other member-nations including the Philippines, it added.*
