The game between the Zamboanga Football Association (ZAFA) and ZANDIFA which is composed of Zamboanga del Norte including Dipolog City, ended up in a tie last Sunday afternoon at the Joaquin F. Enriquez Memorial Sports Complex.
The football game is in line with the on-going Philippine Football Federation (PFF), Suzuki Cup National qualifying rounds for Western Mindanao which the first game started at Dapitan City.
ZAFA Team Manager, J/Insp. Belsie Agustin said, in the game last Sunday, ZAFA scored one point while ZANDIFA also scored one point.
In the 65th minute of the game, Niño from the ZANDIFA also scored one point while ZAFA’s Ryan Campos scored one point in the 70th minute of the game.
Agustin is appealing for more support for the ZAFA team in cash or in kinds as the team needed it badly.
Personalities from the PFF, Tournament Director, Cyril Dofitas, together with representatives from Suzuki and others who were scouting for players attended the game.
