PFF-U23 Visayas Qualifying Games Set in Bacolod City










The Panaad Park and Sports Stadium or the Ayala North Point in Talisay City pitches will be the venue for four playing dates for Negros Occidental in a home-and-away in the Philippine Football Federation-Suzuki Men’s U23 Qualifying leg starting on April 21, 2012, according to Coach Freddie "Nene" Lazarito.

Lazarito, who steered defending champion Negros Occidental Football Association/Negros-Ceres to its two straight victories against Negros Oriental, 4-1, and Iloilo, 2-0, is facing Cebu this coming April 14 in Cebu City and Leyte at the latter’s turf on April 16.

At Panaad, NOFA/Negros-Ceres is facing Negros Oriental against Cebu on May 7, Iloilo on May 12, and Leyte on May 28. If Panaad is not available on certain activity, the matches will be held at Ayala North Point pitch.

Lazarito added that the top three in the Visayas leg will play against the top three from Mindanao and the top two from Visayas and Mindanao will clash with the top two teams from Luzon and Metro Manila.

The team is composed of Jimuel Ariola, goal keeper Robert Mendoza , Joshua Beloya (Bacolod City), Gerardo "Jinggoy" Valmayor of San Carlos City, and Reymark "Buboy" Fernandez (Victorias City), second keeper Benito Rosalia, third keeper Jurex Replentes, Florence Panogaling, Jimmy Malalo-an, Florence Agraviador, Anthony Tongson, George Balceda, Alan Alfaro, Neil Ryan Lirio, Norman Selotorio, Feb Beneminito Baya, Archie Familiar, Ramoniño Aledro, Kent Guevarra, John Vendell Marcellana, Joash Cabus, Bon Joevie Amanquiton, Chip Christian Robles and John Timothy Bolo.

The team is managed by Leo Rey Yanson with assistant coaches Ramon Janeo, Ali Rojas Go, Lemuel Unabia, Hemerson Campo and goalkeeper coach Michael Casas. Head of the delegation is NOFA president Charlie Cojuangco with NOFA secretary general Paulline Javelona.* (CMGarde)
