The Philippine Football Federation is pleased to announce that preparations for the upcoming ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U19 Youth Championship to be held on September 2011 in Myanmar shall start this coming March.
This preparation constitutes the kick-off for future activities of the said team and the basis for selection of players for the National U23 and senior teams for the next years. The purpose of the technical staff is to select the best U19 players in the country; therefore we are interested in players born on or after January 1, 1993 to attend the try-outs for possible inclusion in the Philippine National U19 Men's Football Team.
Aspirants must bring a copy of Birth Certificate (NSO), valid ID (with birth date), Passport (can be to follow) and 4 passport photos for the try-outs.
Here are more details of the tryouts that will be held in Davao:
Dates: March 28 (Monday) and March 29 (Tuesday)
Venue: Tionko Field Bolton Riverside
Time: 4:30PM

Conducting the try outs is Mr. Maor Rozen, an Uruguayan-Spanish UEFA "A" License Coach. He is the appointed Head Coach for the Philippine National U19 Men's Football Team. Mr. Carlos Cojuanco, the President of Negros Occidental FA, is the Team Manager.
