THE 1st TMS Ship Agencies Inc. Invitational Football Festival will kick off this Sunday, March 20, at the Crocodile Park football field along Diversion Road in Maa, Davao City.
Tournament director Alex Adolfo said a total of 12 teams are competing in the 2nd Division Men's Open and another six in the Women's Open.
The top three finishers in both categories will receive prizes from organizers, according to Adolfo.
Meanwhile, the Davao Football Association (DFA) had just conducted a successful event, the two-day Araw ng Dabaw Football Festival at the Tionko field.
Central Mindanao University, KMMPC and Lady Knights emerged winners in their respectively categories last Sunday.
Competing in the Men's Open 1st Division aside from the champion KMMPC were Compostela Valley, Rizal Memorial Colleges, Hooligans, Emar and Medvil.
In the Women's Open, those who participated were Lupon, SOS Children's Village, UP Alumnae, D' Davao Survivors, Tambayan, Davao U-14 White, UP-Mindanao Varsity, University of Mindanao, Davao U-14 and AL Navarro.
