Azkals foreign based players - Updated

Azkals foreign based players update :

Jerry Lucena, Esbjerg , Denmark : Was in squad but did not play in Saturday's club match against Aalborg. His club got league matches on May 7, 11 and 18.

Juani Guirado, Burgos, Spain : Arrived Bacolod . Playing for Ceres Fc in AFC President's Cup matches on May 6, 8, and 10

Dennis Cagara, Lyngby , Denmark : Injured  , did  not play today's league match
His club is playing many league matches in May.

Stephan Schröck, Eintracht Frankfurt , Germany : Did not play for Eintracht Frankfurt yesterday. Last club match of the season is next weekend, May 10

Javier Patino , Buriram United , Thailand: Javier Patino scored for Buriram United today when they won 2-0 away against Air Force. Many league matches during AFC Challenge Cup

Rob Gier , Ascot United , England: He has been playing very few matches for his club .

Roland Müller, Servette Fc , Switzerland : Played regulary for his club. Played today. Last league match is on May 17

Martin Steuble, Fc Wil , Switzerland : Did not play last league match Saturday

Paul Mulders ,  SC Cambuur , Netherlands : His club finished season this weekend. Paul has not played recently for his club

Neil Etheridge , Fulham, England : No matches , Fulham relegated. Last match next weekend.


Azkals is leaving on Wednesday for Bahrain training camp.

  1. no problems if Cagara or Mulders won`t join....as they almost haven't played....but important is that Schröck and Patino will come...to upgrade the offensive. Lucena would be great as well as he already played under Dooley and his system. I am sure Steuble will join as well as Müller....I guess no need for Etheridge (though he has some merrits for the Azkals) as I think he is not our top goalie anymore and he has a lack of matches
