hopefully beloya will get to start with hartmann and morallo at midfield... these three are familiar with and compliment each other's style of play..morallo and beloya with negros-ceres, morallo and hartmann with loyola-meralco... and we know what happened with beloya-hartmann tandem against laos.
ReplyDeleteI`m expecting a win today against Brunei, 2-0 ?
ReplyDeleteBrunei have 2 dangermen. We could lose if Weiss will experiment again. The players will get crucified once more. And knowing Weiss, he wont take the blame and instead will blame it on the players.
ReplyDeleteMyanmar 1-0 Timor Leste HT
ReplyDeletePhilippines can be third in group if Timor Leste and Laos lose.
"The team may be injury-free but disciplinary woes mean strikers Hamizan Aziz Sulaiman and Mohamad Nazirul Nazreen Abdullah are ineligible to play at Lebak Bulus Stadium in Jakarta today both as result of cards picked up against Vietnam." Brunei Times
ReplyDeleteOtt is the only suspended for Philippines ?
muller suspended!
ReplyDeleteI dont think Muller is suspended as previous reports said . he only got one yellow card
ReplyDeleteMyanmar 1-0 Timor Leste FT
ReplyDeletePHI - BRUNEI 1-0, 9th minute
ReplyDeleteBrunei equalized! Now 1-1
ReplyDeleteAt work .... starting eleven ?
ReplyDelete2-1 for Brunei .....the nightmare continues
ReplyDelete2-1 brunei.
ReplyDeletea setback like in old times...the whipping boys of (SE)Asia
ReplyDeletecome on brunei you can do it :) cheers
ReplyDeletePFF should remove coach weiss.
ReplyDelete1-2 , 80 mins..
ReplyDeleteWe lost? Jonny why oh why? Your prediction failed for the first time ever
ReplyDeletedisappointing. an eye-opener. even if you have fil-foreigners to boost the squad and the countless media overhype, philippine football won't go, grow and glow. we need to start from the grassroots, seriously. a foreign coach with notebook credentials doesn't mean he's that good in keeping the team play well. as a fan for 15 years now, i am seriously disappointed. this too shall pass like the past decades and a half!!!
ReplyDeleteNo matter what excuses are, it's not easy to end up at the last in a group where you don't have to face Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. What a result. Without the lucky comeback win against Laos, it could have been epic 0-0-5 clean record. I've never seen Azkals standing lower than Timor Leste AND Brunei even before the fil-foreign revolution. Again, what a result.
ReplyDelete@theClockworks : sorry about my prediction , i did not expect to lose against BRUNEI....
ReplyDeletesi hinrichsen palpak! tanggalin na yan sa national team!
ReplyDeleteIf you want grassroots to develope you cannot expect it to come from the top. People who love football have to join together to form clubs where children can play and learn. They have to volunteer to coach, referee, and raise funds.
ReplyDeleteForming the UFL was a big step, but to feed that league and the national teams, parents and supporters have to put in the time and some money to get a new generation on the pitch.
Thank you! re NEW GENERATION on the pitch is THE ONLY WAY. There is no immediate dinero prospects in training our youth and building a youth farm fm rhe grassroots won't make any of these f..$&rs richer that's why they won't pay heed. It's all about the $$$. It is what it is and it's absolutely pathetic.
ReplyDeleteThat ridiculous promise by Palami that he's going to keep this full squad for the 2013 SEA Games seems even dumber now. Hopefully he was talking before putting his brain in gear, otherwise it's an unforgivable insult to all young players striving hard to be good enough to make it to the national team.
ReplyDeletesaya ikut bersedih atas kekalahan filipina dari brunei.
ReplyDeletesaya kira team filipina sekuat team filipina untuk piala AFF tahun kemarin.
salam dari Indonesia. (^_^)
it's obvious: the filipino based players aren't even string enough to compete with the weakest SEA teams (Timor Leste, Brunei)....and the filipinos from abroad? C'mon, see were they play....in 4th division in Germany or lower, 3rd league in Belgium & Spain (which is probably at the level of 4th or 5th league in England or Germany)......they are not strong enough for SEA players which train with their 1st divison teams.....the future for the Philippines is in their youth developing and to built up a strong and competive league (hopefully soon with international matches => AFC president cup when they get the permission). Maybe the youth program will pay off in 10-20 years....the current generation is lost, the future are the 6-8 years kids wihich like to play that sport but they need a solid base.
ReplyDeleteFailure started with the coach. If they have a proper chemistry this won't happen. If he prefer to used the filipinos from abroad. why only at the game. why he did not ask them to train with the team for more than a month. Football is a team sport that needs chemistry.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 6:57 PM is dead right. Any really talented half-filipino abroad is going to want to play for his country of birth/domicile. Not out of any disloyalty to the Philippines; simply because prospects - and pay - are much better.
ReplyDeletewho's running the show? i mean both are unbelievable at the moment, but who's quarterbacking this whole campaign?
ReplyDeleteis it PFF's araneta or palami calling the shots? palami learned his football during the "darkest" period of the sport, a lot of the people he's played with had sentiments ranging from "foul" to hopelessness with the PFF. Does palami even have folks that could reign him back in and make him think Filipino once and for all?
ReplyDeleteno excuses for the loser......accept ur weakness...hahaha go go go azkals back philippines hahahaha!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe (Filipinos) need to keep supporting football at all time (like basketball) if we all wanted to have a strong foundation in grassroot level, wether win or loose to any matches from our team. This is to encourage children to learn and play football. We just only started less than a year ago and it'll take another 12 to 15 years to see the outcome(top level) of all these hardships. Patience.....
ReplyDeleteAgree with Pachichi - Think positive guys and help out in promoting the sport. Have we encouraged our children, nephews, neices, relatives, neighbors to take up the game?- a game that doesnt need height to achieve excellence? Have we watched every game in Rizal or Panaad? Have we attended/played or organized/supported teams in every festival in our place? If we only look at the weakness of our teams which is much like looking only at the weaknesses of Pacquiao and do nothing about it, we are not helping any to improve the sport (which I presume we all love, otherwise, you wouldn't be posting here)
ReplyDeletei think we should first identify what have/where we/how we gone wrong.. the coaching staff must first admit their mistakes.. it's the first step to moving forward- admission of faults and learning from them... then start to focus on the positives- the players and their potentials... speaking of positives, the "late-addition" to the team(no pun intended), beloya is +++++
