THE Central Visayas secondary football squad is making the best out of the little time left before this year’s Palarong Pambansa starts this Sunday in Tarlac by tweaking some kinks in its armor.
The Central Visayas secondary football squad, coached by Mario Ceniza, is practicing twice a day in two different football fields in Tarlac to improve its game before facing the top football teams in the whole country.
“In our practice games, we see our loopholesand problems in terms of attacking and defending. Our problem yesterday (Wednesday) was our defending and we worked it out this morning (yesterday),” Ceniza told Sun.Star Cebu yesterday.
Central Visayas drew with Zamboanga, 1-1, in an exhibition match the other day.
“Our blending is working out well. The endurance and physical aspect is also okay. We just need finer tune-ups,” said the Paref-Springdale head coach.
Ceniza is eying one more practice game before resting for a day coming into the annual national tournament.
