Fresh from a nailbiting victory in their last outing, Kaya FC–Iloilo are determined to be more ruthless in front of goal when they take on Global Cebu on Wednesday afternoon at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa, Batangas. Iloilo needed a dramatic late winner from Jordan Mintah to down Green Archers United in their last outing. Kaya head coach Noel Marcaida is hoping such heroics won’t be necessary against Global.
“I’m expecting my players to take full responsibility in every chance we create in the final third,” he said. “I’m looking forward to an improved performance from the previous game. I hope to see us performing at our maximum level.”
The last time the two teams collided, Kaya walked away as narrow winners, with Alfred Osei bagging the solitary goal.
