UFL Cup qualifiers suspended since Saturday due to unplayable pitch

The United Football League has postponed scheduled matches for the Cup qualifiers for the past four days due to unplayable pitch conditions.
Eight squads from Division Two — Forza, Internacionale, Team Socceroo, Manila All-Japan, Union Internacional Manila, Laos, Dolphins United, and Agila — and eight guest teams — International FC Ph, General Trias International, Sta. Lucia, Primero Atletico Cavite, Blue Guards, Bright Star, Mendiola, and Masbate — are set to participate in the qualifiers, which was earlier scheduled to start last Saturday and run until September 23.
However, the UFL was forced to suspend matches from Saturday until Tuesday, deeming the University of Makati football field unplayable due to a flooded and muddy pitch caused by continuous downpour brought by monsoon rains.
The UFL has promised to announce the new schedule of matches soon.
The winning teams from the qualifiers will join Division One teams in the UFL Cup main draw, which is slated on September 25.
The UFL Cup main tournament will start on October 4 and will be aired on AKTV.
