Army Fc withdraw from UFL League and UFL Cup

Army Fc has withdrawn from UFL Cup and UFL League.

No news about relegation , but probably there will be no more teams relegated from Div 1.

Kabuscorp de Laguna  from Div 2 has  also withdrawn from UFL Division 2 ,

  1. The last armed forces club is gone. A bit sad. The less clubs the league has the less interesting it gets. The UFL seriously needs to work on that issue after the list of withdrawals this year!

    1. Hong Kong League has only 9 teams in Division 1 - never less interesting
In fact they're AFC Cup East powerhouse teams

    2. Hong Kong is a city state, the Philippines is a country that comprises of more than 700 islands and about 90 million inhabitants. I think it should be possible to find more teams.

  2. yes, I agree . They seem to not care too much that half of the clubs withdrew from Division 2 this season.
Who will be the next to withdraw ?

    1. I think in the end the only teams that will remain will be those in Div 1 + their "sister" clubs like Laos, Forza and Agila. There shouldn't be a Div 2 anymore then.

    2. Or maybe they just don't care since the PFF Premier League will start next year? Either way it's the wrong message to send. I wouldn't trust the PFF at all!

  3. kulang sa sponsors at media exposures ang UFL kaya wlang steady clubs sa division 2 na stable. They should professionalized the league so elite players will remain in Football or otherwise may of them will work in their careers outside of the sport.

    1. UFL is a NCRFA de facto league..

Except na lang kung UFL ang endorse ng PFF and AFC para maging Premier domestic league.

Let us wait sa launching ng bagong national domestic league ng PFF sigurado naman makakuha sila ng maraming sports and media partner para sa tv coverage

  4. It is difficult to get support because the league is following a loser format.

    1. What do you mean by loser format?
Football season game everywhere on this planet is always double round robin, whoever gets the most points wins the title
Except MLS where the league champion is determined by playoffs (similar to NHL/NBA/MLB)
15/16 teams play double round robin in season
In playoffs the top 8 teams knock each other out (1v8 2v7 3v6 4v5) instead of best of 7 It's only 2 games home and away)
Is that the format you want well tell UFL about it
