Trimaxi-Agro and Real Negrense football clubs booked their first victories last Sunday when the 2013 Season of the North Football League (1st Conference) kicked off at the Ayala North pitch in Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
Despite the strong defense employed by the Silver Dragons in the first half, Trimaxi’s striker Troy Fegidero scored his team’s first goal in the 37th minute to post a 1-nil advantage at the break.
In the second half, Trimaxi exploded as Garrett Parcon shot another in the 48th minute while A. Montelibano and A. Amantillo hit back-to-back goals in the 62nd and 66th minutes, respectively, to seal the match 4-nil.
Meanwhile, Rodney Cornel shot twin goals to lead Real Negrense escape Las Buenas FC, 2-1.
Cornel opened a strong attack on Las Buenas’ defense to send the ball at the back of the net in the early 5th minute, but Arandilla shot an equalizer in the 40th minute to end the first half, even at 1.
With eight minutes left in the game, Cornel again got through Las Buenas’ defensive wall for his winning goal in the 72nd minute.
On the other hand, two of the league’s toughest squads, Dynamic FC and Ceres FC, ended at 1-all draw after both clubs played great game.
Following a scoreless first half, Ceres’ Paul Villanueva committed an own-goal in the 66th minute to give Dynamic a 1-nil edge.
However, while the time was winding down, Oliver Colina equalized the score board for Ceres FC when he scored in the 74th minute.
Matches resume this Sunday./

Oliver Colina? The U14 'Little Azkals' Head Coach?
ReplyDeleteYeah. Thats him. Teams outside Cebu has recruited him before in the past to certain big games, but I dont really understand why coz i dont find him that good at all, and i thought he didnt play much anymore, which is more weird to why they got him.
