Reigning League champion Global FC aims to nail its third straight victory as it battles struggling Green Archers United Globe in the United Football League Tuesday at the Emperador Stadium in Mckinley Hill in Taguig.
The match is set at 5:15 p.m., followed by the match between Nomads FC and Kaya FC at 7:30 p.m.
Global FC is currently one of the squads on top of the League table with six points after victories against Pasargad FC and Nomads FC. Stallion Sta. Lucia and the Loyola Meralco Sparks also have two wins and no losses to show in their cards.
Green Archers, meanwhile, looks to nail their first triumph of the season after dropping its first two matches against Stallion and Kaya, which they faced in a fight-marred loss that saw reserve Elle Cagayanan throw a flying kick to Dario Dakic.
Cagayanan is suspended for the Green Archers match against Kaya after a red card, and is expected to miss more games after the league hands further sanctions due to his actions.
Meanwhile, Nomads FC and Kaya FC try to break their tie in the table as they clash in the nightcap.
Both teams have three points apiece after having an identical 1-1 win-loss record and goal differentials of zero. Kaya FC came from a 2-1 victory against Green Archers, while
Nomads FC suffered a 2-1 defeat to Global last week.
