Stallion tramples Pasargad for second victory

Karl Decena, InterAKTV ·

Stallion Sta. Lucia trampled Pasargad FC, 4-0, to notch its second straight victory in the United Football League Thursday at the Emperador Stadium in Taguig.

After a nil-nil tie at halftime, Stallion broke loose and scored all four of its goals in the second half.

South Korean import Kim Hyo Il opened the floodgates for Stallion, converting a penalty kick at the 48th minute to give his team the first goal of the match.

Spanish striker Rufo Sanchez then scored at the 75th minute to increase Stallion’s lead, 2-0.

The woes continued for Pasargad, which found itself playing with just nine men on the field after seeing two players sent off for rough play.

Substitute Daniel Matsunaga then hit the back of the net late in the match, before Stallion buried another penalty kick to settle the final score.

With the victory, Stallion grabbed the top spot with six points. Pasargad dropped its second straight match of the season.

  1. Lakas talaga ng Stallion. Big difference from the old team I saw couple of years ago. The Players now know how to contain their emotions. Wala na dirty play just magnificent football.

Great job Coach Ernie for this massive turnaround.
