The Philippines Under-19 National Team will compete in the AFF Under-19 Championship which will be held in Indonesia on 30 June until 13 July 2018.
To add to the current list of players, the U19 coaching staff will conduct player inspections in Luzon on 14-15 May 2018 at the PFF National Training Center inside the San Lazaro Leisure Park in Carmona, Cavite.
Player inspections in Mindanao will be held on 16-17 2018 May at Tionko Field (AGRO), Davao City and in Visayas on 17-18 May 2018 in Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Interested players must bring their passports and a red playing jersey during the tryouts.
The coaching staff is headed by Christopher Pedimonte, and assisted by coaches Jaypee Merida, Roxy Dorlas, and Anthony Albao as the goalkeeping coach. PFF Head of Youth Development Reiji Hirata and PFF Technical Director Jose Ariston Caslib will serve as the team’s technical advisors.

Aris Caslib as technical advisor = Nhiboy Pedimonte (San Beda head coach), Roxy Dorlas (Loyola Meralco ex player). Hope they will not get massacred by as many as 5 goals per game. They should assemble born 1999's most technical and intelligent players and most of them now are playing in YFL. The tryouts in Visayas and Mindanao are merely for formality and to discover some potentials for their own Colleges..
