Vietnam still climbing up the rankings even though they have not performed well lately? What a crap system!
ReplyDeleteyeah, you can see how crappy this system is....just take Afghanistan...they just played their 3 qualifying matches (2 wins, 1 draw).....and gained 151 pts. and are ranked higher than us now....just with 3 matches played....we played shitloads of matches last year...and got only a handful of points (even in the challenge cup when we beat higher ranked teams like India or Tajikistan).....this Fifa ranking sucks and never gives you an idea how strong a team really is.....its just a nice gimmick
DeleteVietnam got the same ranking points as last month. Other team lost ranking points so they advance.
DeleteI was playing around with the rankings calculator in the FIFA website and so shocked to find that if Tajikistan wins all or 2 of their matches they could find themselves in the 98 or 99 rank! What a load of crap this crap system is! This is a team that we beat last year in the Challenge cup! Somethings wrong with the way they work out the rankings!
ReplyDeleterigth....that's total ridiculous. like you said Tajikistan will gain 223 points if they win all 3 matches vs. teams which are ranked lower than them. in case we will win our 3 matches we just gain ridiculous 38 pts. even we play a high ranked team Turkmenistan......this ranking list is total bullshit.
