Hooligans FC wins PFF SMART National Club Southern Mindanao Cluster Finals

Hooligans FC representing Davao Football Association beat Philippine National Police FC of Davao del Norte FA by an aggregate score of 7 – 6 to qualify for the Mindanao Finals of the Philippine Football Federation SMART National Club Championships held at the Tionko Football Grounds on 9 – 11 November 2012.

During their first game on 10 November, Hooligans FC beat PNP FC, 5 – 3. The scorers for Hooligans are Marlon Dimapanag (1’, 4’, & 19’); Jason Mortillero (62’); and Francisco “Ike” Iligan (88’). Henrich Betio (17’) and Manuel Aspellaga (39’ & 48’) scored for PNP FC.

In the second game, PNP FC beat Hoolugans FC, 3 – 2. However, this was not enough to overcome the goal difference of their first game. Henrich Betio (24’ & 90’) and Noel Flores (43’) scored for PNP FC while Ruelfred Napuran (19’) and Marlon Dimapaang (88’) contributed for Hooligans FC.

Hooligans FC will represent Southern Mindanao Cluster in the Mindanao Finals on 23 – 25 November at the Tionko Football Grounds. Other qualifiers are Advocates FC (Northern Mindanao), M’lang FC (Central Mindanao), and Ramgarjal FC (Western Mindanao). The top two (2) teams will then qualify to the quarter finals, together with two (2) teams each from Visayas and Luzon and 10 teams from the ongoing United Football League in the National Capital Region.

The players of Hooligans FC are Angelo John Adana, Patrock Asoque, Mark Anthony Bugay, Marlon Dimapanag, Allan Rey Fernandez, Kuizumi Yoshihoru, Kristian Hager, Roeder Ignacio, Francisco Iligan Jr., Clemens Lademora, Jason Mortillero, Ruelfred Napuran, Renell Pino, Junard Pinonggan, Imardino Polo, Ronald Manalo, Joven Benitez, and Arman Valencia. Mr. David Dwight Peṅano and Noel Presto are coaches of the team.
