KUALA LUMPUR: Host countries for the AFC U16 Champions 2010 qualifying competition have been asked to designate at least two MRI Centres to conduct age tests.
MRI scans are crucial to ensuring players are of the correct age when they compete in tournaments for youngsters under 16.
Each MRI Centre must comply to AFC standards. The AFC Medical Department will provide final approval.
Comment : All countries should note this and take tests before they start competing in the qualifiers !
Bangladesh have tested their players and 7 players were found overaged and were not allowed to go with the team .
