Nate Burkey of the Philippine Azkals awarded the trophies, medals and certificates in the bootfest organized by the Uraya Land Development, Inc. (ULDI).
ULDI marketing admin manager Merci Duduaco, in a message during the opening of the one-day bootfest, said: "ULDI will continue to hold this football event annually to show that we are not only focused in the development of real estate properties but we are also aimed in developing physical and mental skills of our local football players."
Davao Football Association (DFA) general secretary Erwin Protacio, who was also among the keynote speakers in the opening ceremony, lauded ULDI chairman Debin Uraya for opening a new field as it will add to the many playable fields for the emerging football scene in the city.
The ULDI chair gave the VDM football field to his grandson Levi Uraya, Jr. as a birthday gift.
