Grabbing the headline are the USC football belles who became the only players from Visayas and Mindanao to advance to the semifinal round following their, 2-1 bashing of Xavier University. They will face UP today at 3 pm. The other semis pairing features top-ranked De La Salle University vs Ateneo.

Loi Mejias scored USC’s first goal in the 21st minute before Renee Songalia added another for a, 2-0 lead. Xavier closed in with a goal at the 75th minute and scrambled late to get the equalizing goal but failed as USC marched to the Final Four.
