ReplyDeleteIt is common knowledge that Laos FC is also a Club owned and controlled by Mr. Palami. How can 2 club teams controlled by ONE person participate in the same division. This is against FIFA regulations.
ReplyDeletegee, man. you really need a hug with all that palami hating.
DeleteIt's true Palami is the owner of Laos FC ...
DeleteWell, if it was Globals reserve team, then I would understand why youre bitchin, but in this case, this shouldnt be a problem at all.
DeleteMLS in its early years had several clubs owned by the same owner in the US. Eventually they had to divest of their other teams, but with the lack of owners willing to invest early on, MLS had no choice but to allow a few investors to own more than one team in the beginning.
ReplyDeleteAlso in other countries, reserve teams playing in lower leagues can be promoted, sometimes ending up in the same division as their parent club, as is the case with Laos. If we had more owners willing to invest in the UFL, this would not have happened, but currently this situation is what we have to live with. It is important thought that both Palami owned teams don't collude with each other. In MLS despite having the same owners, they had totally different management groups that competed against each other. Since MLS was itself a single entity, they were able to make sure that there was no collusion between the teams.
What are the teams for the 2nd division? That is, assuming there is still a 2nd Division.
ReplyDeleteActually, in most of the major football competitions the reserve team can never promote to the same level as the main team. They need to remain at least one level lower.
ReplyDeleteSee the Netherlands, Germany and Spain as examples of this.
True, but I wasn't referring to the major football countries.
DeleteSo you mean UFL is a special case?
DeleteOr is it because you are a fan of Palami?
