  1. Why they play a friendly on a artificial pitch in RMS when they will be playing on natural grass 5 days later at PSS ?

    2. Because renting PSS costs more than renting RMS
And PFF doesn't own any stadiums in the country
PSC's fee for use of RMS in friendly/tournament only charges 1 million pesos while INC's PSS costs like 1.3-1.5 million pesos
Maybe Palami will only rent PSS for top competitions like World Cup Qualifiers
And RMS is viable option for accessibility too
It's only in Manila less hassle than going to Bocaue

    3. Yes,, that seems possible. Doubt that all the foreign based players will be playing this friendly.

  2. Another question is: Why did Maldives accept the invitation to play in the Philippines when they will play China on 8 September 2015 in Male (Maldives)?

    1. Simple answer: Because they wanted to.
Deeper answer: Maldives FA wanted to prepare as well for World Cup Qualifiers against China on September 8
They just recently sacked their coach for dismal campaigns in Indian Ocean Island Games this August and losing both opening World Cup Qualifiers matches against June 11 Qatar (FT 0-1) and June 16 Hong Kong (0-2), respectively
And this time in a friendly vs Philippines they'll try a new playing system of their new coach
If any team's upcoming WCQ game is at home does that means that they can't travel outside the country for a friendly game prior to that?

    2. Maldives is trying to change their home qualifier to away qualifier against China on Sept 9 , because their National Stadium pitch is damaged.

    3. And the return leg of Maldives vs China in Male will be on March 24
Just like Palestine vs Saudi Arabia have swapped venues and dates
