ReplyDeleteIloilo vs Laguna 1-1 draw. very muddy field.
ReplyDelete@ Anonymous May itikal man kami mo unlike sa inyo nga lawlaw! Puro sugid pero lawlaw man.
ReplyDeleteGo Iloilo!
ReplyDeleteI have seen all the games here in Laguna. Recently, the field was muddy as hell due the heavy downpour. Kulang na lang carabao. The attempts ratio of IFA with Laguna was 5:1. Possession was more or less 60:40 in favor of IFA. Nevertheless, Iloilo has a very poor finishing. It shouldn't be blamed on the muddy field since both teams can hardly pass the ball decently. It could have been different, if only Laguna won the penalty.
ReplyDeleteBased on the stats, since Iloilo and Laguna tied, and considering that Davao and Laguna also has a draw we can say that these 3 FA's are evenly matched.
There will definitely be a do or die scenario between Davao and IFA this Tuesday. Having seen both teams play, both must be more creative in their chances in my opinion.
keen observer
ReplyDeletewhat will be your prediction, though i vote for IFA there will be pressure to them dahil ang finals will be held in iloilo they must win against davao and it will be a good match...a win is a win so as the draw...congrats to laguna on holding there ground...
any news sa bacolod na side???
Panaad: NCR vs Masbate - 1-0
ReplyDeleteBacolod vs Dipolog 7-1
Just like what I've said, UNLESS both will not create better chances, my guess -- a draw..
Also, in Panaad, based on the results 3 teams are equally matched on paper. Bacolod, NCR and Masbate. Just look at the very close scoreline among the aforementioned teams.
For me, the leveling factor in all the matches this day is the rain. There you can see the sloppy control, inaccurate passes, lousy shot etc... You can really see the difference that the ball can hardly move around.
Ooops sorry my bad :),...I am not "keen observer"..I'm just an Observer in Laguna
ReplyDeleteobserver in laguna...my bad also thanks for correction....but for observation NCR won 1 nil against masbate...huh my question now is really NCR team justifiable to join quarterfinal without joining luzon elimination???maybe there reason now that basa and tuason never played for them???that two is not worth for a ticket to join the national team....
ReplyDeleteI've been into this sport all my life, in my opinion..team chemistry really matters. Those two that you mentioned are just two players. Though individual skill also matters, football is still a team sport. NCR as what I've read was formed only recently. In fact, the NCR team in Bacolod were even playing against each other during the UAAP since they belong to different schools.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the capacity to judge whether those two are worthy to become azkals.
ReplyDeletewatcher in LAGUNA - Possession was 50-50 but attacks were more in favor of the Laguna team. IFA was disorganized after the first goal, even their own players couldn't believe what transpired. Kudos to LAGUNA team who fought with heart to the last minute, having 2 injured players sent to the hospital. It should be noted that Laguna is a strong force knowing they are undefeated.
ReplyDeleteProbable finish will be IFA will get the first place, and LAGUNA will follow.
Eh ano ngaun kung "sa kabila ng 6players from original first 11 ay hindi nakakalaro"??? whose fault is that??? typical sourgraping....move on dude.
ReplyDeletethe game was played in harsh conditions - slippery and muddy ground. laguna indeed outplayed iloilo but still iloilo pulled one back. laguna were complacent. if laguna to go to the semis, they need an 8-goal cushion win over NCR - which i think is probable. iloilo needs a win or even a draw over davao on tues. these two teams are cohesive. they have pretty good set plays, set piece kickers. davao has an edge though with their formidable backline. unless they improve, iloilo's weaknesses vs laguna that will defeat them vs davao are:
ReplyDelete1. ground ball finishing. they have high-ground kicks infront of the laguna net. sayang ang attempts.
2. right full back position is off-position at times(batislaong)
3. winger-central midfield communication. the field is empty when the wings place a thru ball in the middle at the attack.
4. their temper. leonora, gustilo, batislaong should control their tempers and avoid dissent to the referree. affected ang play nila if they dont stop.
davao has been playing well. but i think, iloilo will win this, 2-1.
Definitely SOURGRAPING! grow up! It is not even worth mentioning.
Definitely SOURGRAPING! grow up! It is not even worth mentioning...)
Why would you brag bout your team and put down others? Is it necessary to mention and put down other teams? Ang team leyte tinambakan nagreklamo ba? Pinahiya ba sila dahil kulelat sila? Thrash talk lang ata alam mo eh. Ganyan ba ugali nyo?
ReplyDeleteExcuse me I'm born and bred in Bacolod City.

ReplyDeletesan ka sa visayas? ibang klase ang yabang mo a! taga-visayas din ako pero hindi ako ganyan manglait. your comments are nonsense! you dont know where football is coming from. masyado regionalistic ang view mo sa PH football. you dont know that NCR andluzon are stepping up. this is just the start.
Oh ikaw ya cge bi? hahaha hinugay ka da!!! kaladlawan cmu ikaw naton ang di kabalo! hahah sapote man kamu sa NOFA!!! Lantawon ta gd bi kung kabalo ka.
ReplyDeletePrecisely...panglait lng alam nya. halatang taga dumaguete pinipilit kasing isingit ang "6players blahblah" nya. ginamit pa bisaya! LA PULOS KA! Kahuluya simu!
ReplyDelete@anonymous commenter may8, 2011 4.46pm.

ReplyDeleteto observer in laguna....
ReplyDeletemaybe it is their excuse of the chemistry NCR knew that they will face the top team of the Luzon, visayas and mindanao but still they react late.
Forming the team, selection of players, and training....but why...
para sakin naging confident sila at akala nila magaling na sila....
though your right your not in a position to judge a player who is worth to join the NT, and so am I, but facts shows even from a long time and not only in football, that the selection is always in favor to the NCR....now it shows that PHL NT has no decent selection process.....that is why I comment on that two player, what i am emphasizing are there any rule and regulation for the selection of the NT????
on the other...the result of the game today makes me happy the competition is getting exciting...no one will guess who gonna win or loss....kudos to all team...except of course sa NCR...it is not I hate them i just feel biased to other team especially Luzon...Laguna and Masbate fought many rounds and they deserve this quarterfinal seat....NCR has an automatic 2 team now what happen to them????Bureaucracy and politics has no room sa football...why not NCR north will join in the elimination against region 1, 2, 3 and NCR south will join region 4a, 4b, and 5....
Congrats to NOFA and IFA...go visayas

ReplyDeleteBitoy Itawag Mo Sa Akin said...
ReplyDeleteat walang favoritism all selection will start from the scratch...indi porket kasama na senior at sikat sa NCAA at UAAP ay automatic na
ReplyDeletewag ka masyado, Visayas is far better than NCR, kaya lang naman lumalakas ang NCR dahil sa mga players na kinukuha from Visayas, and you should admit it.
automatic 2 slots for NCR? that's not fair, kasali dapat NCR sa all Luzon eliminations. Bakit wala ba sa Luzon ang NCR. There's something wrong with the system.

PFF should learn from this.
ReplyDeleteThis only proved that football teams form Visayas and Mindanao are way stronger than those from NCR. Pero understandable naman yun kc even before sumikat ang azkals, thriving na talaga yung football sa VisMin area as compared to NCR kc basketball ang focus doon eh.
ReplyDeleteSana maging humble mga tao dito wag maging hambog/hambogiro kc ayaw natin nyan ok.
ReplyDeleteI think Davao will thrash Iloilo, swerte lng yung Iloilo kc maganda yung condition ng pitch when they played with NCR kaya ahead cla with 7 pts and with Davao vs NCR, the condition were not good but they were able to pull 4-0 score w/c was good kahit pangit yung condition.
Davao scored 4-0 because NCR were reduced to 10 players because of a red card...
ReplyDeleteNCR team in laguna is not worth in the quarterfinals....
