    Masbate has a respectable football following. In the just concluded APT Global Football Cup, they earned 4th place. They lost to Ilonggo United for 3rd place by 4-2. Not bad.

    some of them been playing together since high school in Aroroy, Masbate. Two of them are members of Global Smartmatic FC.

    Padayon! Footballmania must continuously spread in the whole province to further strengthen the foundation.Aroroy and Masbate City are doing good. Other municipalities must follow. I only knew several football pitches in the province ie Masbate grandstand, DEBESMSCAT...

      so your not gonna include the FC SJ (football club San Jacinto) one of the municipality of masbate. I forgot to mention they won the last year's alumni cup mens division held in masbate which placed the Aroroy FC only in second place. In short they are the Champions. Anyway no FCSJ players are playing in masbate's main team. Most of them are in Big teams like RTU,PUP and one of them think is in AZkal B. Anyway they'reall from SJNHS where they bloomed intofinr footballers. Anyway I'm just sharing, they also beat our team last year.
