  5. North Korea play in the Challenge Cup because its association doesn't meet the AFC's criteria (domestic league and all) but whatever, i agree that AFC shouldn't let them join anymore since their national team is way beyond Challenge Cup level.

Well but i checked the NKorean roster and yes you're right. They look like just an U-23 team.

  8. Why are these North Koreans so good at football? Are they not supposed to be hungry all the time? What kind of training do they get? Then I found something that troubled me and I'm quoting the source:

"Players ‘who participated in the World Cup were subjected to a session of harsh ideological criticism’, a Chinese businessman told South Korean media.

Experts on North Korea say the players actually got off rather lightly. ‘In the past, North Korean athletes who performed badly were sent to prison camps,’ one intelligence source said."

please check your source. if possible get a north korean source. your UK source is not reliable. I have actually read but i cant quote right now that n.korean players are spoiled. i mean they get to wear branded soccer boots right, while playing for a communist country?? jong tae se, their striker, was playing in japan and now in germany. why would you think he'd pick n.korea if he won't be treated well?

also, a lot of south koreans like the idea that north korea will join them in 2010's world cup. the beef between the 2 koreas is very political but i think the citizens of both countries wouldn't like to fight each other.
